This is a little table and chairs so I can have someone over to scrap with me or just sit and have a coffee and chat.
My paper storage and Expedit shelves for all my stash and books. Loads of work surface to spread out and play on! Computer and Craft Robo area with plenty of cupboard storage. This is where scrap happens!
This is my scraproom, it doesn't always look this tidy but I love the space, the storage and the large amount of work surface so I can spread myself out and play for hours.
Had to make a couple more of them as people seem to like them! ;)
Now I know I need to go and find something sensible to do, because this is what happens if I don't! He's kind of cute though!! I made him for a friend of mine, but now I am not so sure she is going to be very impressed! :)
The little rhyme that goes with him is: The Dammit Doll When you want to climb the wall and stand right up and shout Here's a little Dammit Doll You cannot do without
Just grasp it firmly by the legs and find a place to slam it and as you whack the stuffing out yell Dammit, Dammit, Dammit!
If Dammit's not a word you say then twist its little neck and grumble repeatedly Oh heck, oh heck, oh heck!
And once you're done abusing it just sit it on a shelf but hug it first, as I'd hug you if I were there myself...
My son asked if I would make a friend he has shared halls and a house with an album with pics of the times the 4 of them have been together but he didn't want it to be 'old fashioned or flowery".... hmmm - I picked up the gauntlet and tried to do funky and modern!! Lifted loubylou on UK Scrappers idea from her CJ Journal for the front cover - a photo of Kiri's eyes (the recipient) and blinged it to bits! Loads of BG and ribbons and more BG. I think I achieved 'funky' ?? Design from cotescrap blog.
I made this mini book for my Mum for Mother's Day. Tried something different to hide the BIA wires as I wanted the effect to be pretty and feminine. Used half a kitchen foil tube and then covered it with papers.
I am a wife, mother and scrapper. I began scrapping when we were living in South Africa and have developed a bit of an addiction to mini books of all kinds. I then moved to Saudi Arabia and onto Calgary, Canada. I spend my time playing with stash! I was on the Zutter's Design Team 2008 - 2009 and love playing with my BIA. Latest update is that I have enjoyed six months at home in Scotland and am now in Brisbane, Australia.
