Tea Tuesday

I think spring has finally sprung as the sun is shining and there is just a narrow strip of snow left to melt in my garden!!  Yay... it was a long winter, especially as it was my first in Canada and I am so glad to see the end of it!
I still have my Easter table cloth out... it is so cheery I don't want to put it away too quickly and I made carrot cake so there is a slice of that to go with your tea if you want.
In fact, there are two of them... so help yourself!! ;)
and my tip for getting a frosted cake out of the tub without getting frosting all over?  I lay a piece of aluminium foil along the bottom of the tub and drape it over the edges... that way it lifts out perfectly! ;)
So to celebrate Spring and Tea on Tuesday I made one of my little teabag books to give away.
It has little pockets with 6 different teas...
and all you have to do is leave a comment on this post and I will pick a name on Friday and pop it in the post.  No rules, no have to do anythings, and I will post to anywhere... of course, if you don't want the one I made you can make your own with my instructions if you wish!! ;)
Click your heels and whoosh.... over to Kimmie's for the linky list of Tea on Tuesday types!!

  1. Love the Easter tablecloth. It really is a SPRING tablecloth, I think. It really IS cheery. I would LOVE a piece of carrot cake. I think it would be better than the store bought cake I got. What can I say. I won't look a gift cake in the mouth.

Wow, I would never have thought to put a frosted cake in a tub. What a clever idea. And EAT with TEA today.

You don't need to include me in the drawing for your pocket book. I am tickled with my card and the lovely tea you sent me two weeks ago. For some reason, I feel it would be unfair to be so brazen.

Have a great tea Tuesday, dear friend.

  8. My brother-in-law called from the Toronto area on Friday to wish me a happy Easter and he said it was still pretty darn cold there. I love, love, love your idea for a little teabag book. Cute, cute, cute! And ginger peach green tea sounds absolutely divine. Haven't seen that flavor before and sadly couldn't find it over here. :/ Hope you are having a terrific day. Tammy

  12. I love your easter table! so cheery and bright! carrot cake is the PERFECT thing to have! in fact, I listened to a cooking show and they were talking about serving RABBIT for Easter! and not the chocolate kind either - as a main course! that would just be mean! carrot cake is so much more civilized )

anyhow - I love your tea book (I hope I win!)

  18. My goodness...the tablecloth is very sweet...but not as sweet as those cupcakes. *wiping the drool*
    Awesome handmade book as well!
Still snow! Your must be in an even colder area than me in MN. The only places with snow here anymore are the parking lots of the shopping malls.
