New Home Card

So my son moves into a flat on his own next weekend, to date he has always shared with Uni friends, so this will be a very new experience for him. Couldn't find a new home card in the local shops so I have had to make one.... now don't laugh... you see that blurb about me on my blog? It doesn't say card maker... it say I love to make mini books!!

On the inside I made a recipe card for a really quick and easy pizza that takes 10 minutes from start to finish.

and a pocket with a tag wishing happiness in his very own space and some money to get some food... which hopefully will make up for the dire attempt at card making!!

  3. I think you should add card maker to the list! Wish my mom gave me a card like that when I moved out 35 years ago. O, wait, she actually did the grocery shopping for the first month, so I can't really complain now, can I?
    Tell DS to enjoy.

  5. I love the fact you've made the card useful with the recipe! I've never professed to be a card maker either - I love scrapping and mini books but cards just don't do it for me, I occasionally sit and do a batch using up all of my left over bits of paper but usually under duress! I'm sure he'll love the card and hopefully make use of the recipe as well!

  11. What a brilliant concept ... this could be a new trend with cards ... a bridal card with a recipe that will keep your man happy, a bithday card with a cake recipe, etc etc

Not a card maker ... bah ... you can turn your hand to anything and do it amazingly,xx
