Decided to have another go at making the octagon exploding box and used my instructions, just to check that I had covered everything, and they seem to be ok! ;)
I'm thinking maybe to offer this one for sale in the compound, seeing as how I don't actually know anyone with a baby girl. I could use the money to go toward the kitten vaccinations so that they have a better chance of finding homes, having five of them done will no doubt cost a heap of dosh!
This one is the spitting image of Dilbert's Pointy Haired Boss!!
I wasn't sure about the yellow with the pink... but I think it works to stop it being too over the top pink, what do you think?

Stunning box Annette - am sure someone would bite your hand off for it.
ReplyDeleteCut kitty pictures - hope you're not getting too attatched to them??
Beautiful box Annette. Selling sounds a good idea, at least it would give you a few 'pennies' towards those cute little kitties.
ReplyDeleteToni :o)
Annette the box is fabulous - I'll download the instructions and have a go myself when I get chance - I'm on with an impossible task for the weekend (can't see me getting it done - plus need the photos to arrive!) I'm sure anyone would be happy to be it - it's absolutely gorgeous and the kittens are exquisite - what a great way of helping them survive!

Great box Annette.
ReplyDeleteThose cat's are adorable and with those ears, we needn't worry about their hearing. Can we have the first one, it looks as though it's sprouting horns lol. Glad to see they're all doing well
That yellow and pink works so well ... more modern than just pale pink. Love the kittens ...they look as though they have such charecters.
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow and Pink ... love the kittens too. Sorry this is short but its my 3rd attempt to post
ReplyDeleteHello VV, this is so lovely. That cat had me in laughter, I can just think it saying, yes I am a direct lineage from Egyptian sphinx...whats your problem.
ReplyDeleteThat box is beautiful. I am currently making a maze book for my friend that just had a baby girl. She is still in total denial thats its a girl. So have mixed the pink with yellow to, it really goes well.
Any idea where I can find the template for the box? You are always so gracious in sharing. Thinking it might be fun to add to the book using the scraps. (I have nice my minds eye blingy paper from the laundry line). Think it be great to push paper around a bit while I recover from my woes. Gladly send funds for cats vac's. Or saend stash you can turn into funds.
