WOYWW 257

Here we go again.... sung to the well known tune of same name!  Yes, here it is Wednesday already and my desk is looking very bare... except for some ATC's I started for the big swap... but haven't finished yet.
I was actually congratulating myself last week because I am normally in the throws of moving when the WOYWW Anniversary comes around... and here I am in the new house and unpacked already!!  Except I thought too soon... cos we have now been giving our leaving Oz date and it is in 4 weeks.  So I am now in full on get cats paperwork sorted, get lists made, find out about shippers, sell off anything that can't be shipped mode...
So before I get the packing boxes out of the storage cupboard and start packing again.... (insert your own expletives at this point because all mine are used up) I thought I would take a step back and show you the scraproom before it goes into dismantle mode.  This is my working corner, the scrap desk and computer desk under the window..
and the rest of the room is storage for stash.. oh and little Pandy keeping me company in a cardboard box on the floor...
So if youa re wondering what I am rabbiting about with visiting desk, check out the leader of the desk snoop, Julia, for all the details.   I will be around to visit peeps, leave me a number to keep the process fast and easy and if anyone wants to swap an ATC... let me know in the comments.

  1. Good grief Annette. Will it ever stop? Is this the last and final move? Are you heading home for good? If so, I'll send you an ATC in Scotland. If that's not where you'll land for GOOD, let me know, please.

If I could help, I would. It's a big mess and such a time consuming job. Seems the previous landlord put you out a couple of months too soon.

I'm off MY rant now, too. My expletives aren't as used up as yours.

    Happy WOYWW, dear friend.

  4. Oh Annette there aren't enough expletives to cover how you must be feeling. It only feels. Like yesterday you got there!

Hope everything goes smoothly. What is the situation with the kitties when they get home? Will they have to go into Quarrantine?

  9. Have mercy! You move so often I just never know where you'll be next and for how long! I've moved my scrapping stuff maybe 3 times and it was a monstrous job - I can't imagine doing it as many times as you have. Having said that I almost feel like we NEED to move, just to force a proper sort out. :)

    Happy WOYWW!

  11. Well, what can one say - everyone has said it before me and I will join in with the cussin' for you. Feel so sorry for you having to repack, you must have it off to a fine at by now but t is no consolation.
Good luck Annette, hope Tom-Tom and Pandy are ok.

  12. I don't know how you've got the strength to do it all, Annette....I couldn't do it! What on earth does your husband (or you!) do for a living that entails so much moving around? And where are you off to this time? I'm such a home bird, been here 17 years, but I haven't let the clutter get out of hand either.
So I'm glad I gave you a giggle this morning, sounds like you needed it!
    Hugs, LLJ 2 xx

  13. Perhaps you should just live in a container and they can pic you up and move you lock stock and barrel without all the packing involved? Kidding of course...cant BELIEVE you are on the move AGAIN! You don't say where too...? Home? For good? or will that never happen? (hugs) from across the ocean.

Was a nice space while it lasted though!

  18. My family and I have been living in the same house for nearly 15 years, but with our youngest daughter moving away to college and aging parents around 500 miles away, I know we need to move soon. However, I can't imagine having to move as often as you have. I have to say you seem to be very organized and efficient at it based on the looks of your studio. Blessings! WOYWW #52

  27. That's a shame the room looks great and so tidy but perhaps moving helps in a way lol!
We have lived in the same house now for over 20 years and I have just collected so much stuff that it's scary lol!

  28. Holy cow! I've moved 31 times and it got worse every time. A few months ago I found a small box of stuff I made in 1979. Sometimes the boxes didn't even get unpacked. Here's hoping it goes as smoothly as possible. #66

  29. I can't think of any expletives that you wouldn't have already used. I'm offended for you, mainly because you've unpacked and they KNEW you were moving. Argh.
Leave your ATC posting till you're home and settled, we can do a swap then..and who knows you may get a little southern holiday to make up for the hassle.....

  30. Blimey Annette - don't know how you keep so calm! Will post ATC with Annie's when you are back here. Best of luck! x Jo
