I'm so Distrezzed....

I have been playing with some of my new Zutter's toys this morning and having a lovely time!!  The Zutter Kutter is a dream of a cutter... such a lovely clean cut through thick chipboard, it is going to make cutting covers for my mini books an absolute breeze!!  I thought I would check out the 'oracle of everything' (Youtube) before proceeding with my first cuts and was really surprised at the number of people who were complaining because to do thick stuff you need to go through 4 times on different levels to get your one final cut.  What planet are these peeps from?  I hate to think how many cuts I make with a blade to get through normal chipboard to get a decentish cut and it hurts my wrist and I don't always stay on the line!!  4 levels to produce a finish that is clean and straight is a dream for this mini book maker.  I had a pair of 6 x 10 covers in a minute or so... no complaints from me!!
So then I got the Distrezz it All out of its little tin and had a play with that... this is the cover using Zutter's corrugated board before the distressing.
Its a fun thing to play with and I am hoping that I get a bit better... perhaps not up to Donna Salazar's standards but it would be nice!! ;)
I love the raggedy edges and the fact that stuff gets fat feels amazing.
So I was trying to get some photos of Pandora this morning because the above mini book cover is supposed to be one about her.... she is not normally very cooperative when I poke the camera in her face but I explained that if she wanted a book about her with naff pics in it... just carry on... or she could be nice and let me get some fairly good ones, it appears to have worked to some degree!!
Hmmmm, butter wouldn't melt... just put your fingers with in range though!!
I lover her marking on this side of her face... it looks like she wears eyeliner!!

  2. I agree, sounds like some folk just have to find fault Annette - 4 passes on the thickness of greyboard that I currently have a huuuuuuge stock of would be heaven.

You have one very pretty feline there.
