WOYWW 6th July 2011

Good grief...(in a typically Charlie Brown sort of voice) it can't be Wednesday again already!! Don't forget to pop over to Madame Julia's desk for the linky list of fabulous crafty desks all being revealed in their glory!! My work desk  this week looks like this...
Yep, Graphic 45 Le Cirque papers... I have had these a while and really couldn't figure out what to do with them as I am not really a circus type of girl but then I saw Linda's version of a book which is a box for hiding stuff on her blog and I told her that I was going to steal borrow her idea because I had picked up a dark and dingy one with some damage at a garage sale for 50 cents.
This was the before photo... it really didn't have a lot going for it.
and this is it now....
I'm not sure you can tell from the photograph but the box side is layered up with the posters and fence so that it has a 3D effect... it's sitting there waiting for me to figure out whether to leave it or play some more... I'm thinking some bling wouldn't go amiss... LOL

  6. Wow, that box is super. I don't tend to "do" circus as a theme because I don't really like clowns but your box is amazing and I love the colours.

  19. I'm impressed with how you used those Graphic 45 papers. This is a lovely example of how the can be used. I especially like that you kept the spine embossing intact. Really, really clever.

Sorry I missed WOYWW this week, but I had to stop by and say hello this morning.

  21. well now that is just stunning. I can see the dimension in the photos. Hard to say if blig would enhance or detract - maybe a shimmer rather than a full on sparkle? Either way, it's a corker!

  23. Fabulous makeover for that book. Not a circus person either, well, actually, not a clown person at all - they make me shudder - but this is still impressive work, as usual. Bling - why not - it's show business and what would that be without bling :) Have a great week. Elizabeth x #72
