Here we are again showing our desks off for all and sundry!! I decided to go for the birds eye view this week and achieved this viewpoint by standing on a stool... luckily it didn't protest at the weight!! On my desk you can see a pile of felt... I am in a swap making little ATC sized felt pages... and toward the right you can see the lovely surprise I had in the mail this morning from Graphic45 - one of their new range pads Little Darlings and some of their fabby lace and some fun words and a big fat G45 badge!! They kindly sent them to me because my Less Patient book was chosen on their blog.
While I was up there I thought I would let you have a peak at the top of my Expedit... yes, it's a bit of a mess... stuff to be altered and boxes full of flowers and chipboard and stuff... lots of 'stuff'!!
This is the window to the right of my desk... yep, it's snowing... it's been a bit nippy here today and I froze shovelling the path and driveway this morning.
This is still from the stool doing the birds eye thing... below the window and revealing more mess...
and you get two desks for the price of one this week... this is the large desk behind me... hmmmm, yes, its a mess too! Too many things to make and not enough hours in the day...
If you are wondering why I am showing you my scraproom desks then you really need to shoot over to the keeper of the desks, Julia, and find out what you are missing!!
Wow - your workspace is spacious and organized and not messy.....more like filled with creativity in progress. Looks like lots of fun is had here....look forward to seeing more AB stuff from you (though you did jump ahead and decorate your cover already :)
ReplyDeleteI am confused about all the goodies I see, especially in the last photo. I want to know what the turquoise thing is on the desk at the very back and is that a sewing machine on the floor? You have SO many lovely tools. Yep, you can work on these for a lifetime and still have leftovers. Of course, I love leftovers!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely space you have.It would be exciting just to walk inside.Nice creativity going on here.
ReplyDeleteLove your space !! two desks whoo-hoo, lots of goodies everywhere would love to come and play!! the view from you window brrrrrrrrrr good reason to stay home and craft!! Have a great week Hugs May x x x

There seems to be a bit of a theme with your space today!!! but I love how you have it arranged and it looks organised, even if there is lots going on.... I have run out of the large bull dog clips now, (i.e I can't find any more in the office to "borrow"!) so I think I need to go shopping... don't think they'll work for the niche though...
ReplyDeleteWow. What a fab workspace and what a lot of stash you have,
ReplyDeleteHugs,
A x
Great snoop around your fab craft space. You are certainly organised and tidy there. I must agree that we do really need a close up of the display of artwork in the corner... looks like there are some gems there.
ReplyDeleteDo they sell Bisto over there?
Love JoZarty x
You have some amazing bits and pieces in your wonderful craft room.Last time I took a birds eye view the photo had a little of my tummy in it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the look at your lovely space!
ReplyDeleteAeryn @ #69
great pics of your workspace. I have been thinking about buying an expedit but will have to drive to Dallas to do so as there isn't an IKEA in Oklahoma...we are a little behind on the times... I love the Alex drawer and have bought two of those. Thanks for sharing your awesome space! Vickie #44
ReplyDeleteOh my, your definition of mess and mine differ drastically! Your room is pristine in comparison to mine... the top of my Expedit is heavily laded too, but my mess isn't in nice neat boxes and piles like yours! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing - the felt ATC pages sound intruiging and congrats on the scrummy goodies from G45! :)

Fantastic craft space there - I'm very jealous. Enjoyed the peek round the corner so to speak and that bookcase with all your completed projects on looks wonderful.

Thanks for the 360 degree tour of your scrapping space. Awesome to see not just your desk this week.
ReplyDeleteThis just reinforces my jealousy about space. Have just stood in open doorway of my room and thought how much easier my life would be if I didn't do this! Well done on the G45 stuff, perfect for you, and why wouldn't they notice your fab stuff!
ReplyDeletewhen you come home and have to fit your stash into your residence over here - I am more than willing to help you rehouse the surplus - really it's no trouble...

Your work space is great - However with a window that close I would be too tempted to just sit and watch the snow falling outside :)

ReplyDeleteBecky #44
Wow what a fab space! Love Enjoy letters on the wall too. Take care, enjoy this WOYWW & I'm off to snoop some more! Wonder how many I'll get round today? Zo xx 60
ReplyDeleteWhat mess, I can't see a mess - just lots of stuff and if you weren't so far away I'd be right over to play with it all :) We've got away with the snow clearing so far this year - just had a shower of hailstones a minute ago but now it's just raining, although I can see the wind is building. Congrats on your win - I've seen that G45 paper on YouTube and it is gorgeous. Hope you're having a happy WOYWW. Elizabeth x #22
ReplyDeleteI am loving the "birds eye" view, great perspective of your room and what a nice size room you have to store all your goodies! Lucky you! Enjoy your snow, we didn't get any this year, and we are going to have a lot of bugs this summer! yuck! waving hi from the beautiful hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteWow-- what a fabulous work space!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your craft room!! I'm about to totally makeover my craft room and I think I'll take some inspiration from yours!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your WOYWW!!

Thank you for showing us all that lovely busy workspace, two desks as well. There are certainly loads of things for us to look at and drool over. The gold experiment failed, but thanks to Barbara Gray, I think I now have the answer. will show it when I get the right stuff together. Thank you for your visit, and I cannot wait to get those peas growing. xx Maggie #8
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun space! So much room to spread out. Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh I just love it! So organised and pretty :)

ReplyDeletejanet #59
Thank you for showing us your space. I would love to have a good root round.
ReplyDeleteLynn -:)
You have a well-filled space there. I like the bird's eye view. I thought about but lack chairs without wheels and figured the stepladder was too much work. You have so many fun things to play with and pretty well organized too.
ReplyDeleteGel medium. As I mentioned in my lesson, the container I have is more than enough. I have made three niches and have barely made a dent in that jar.
ReplyDelete2 ozs of gel medium is MORE than enough to make your niche. I suggest the REGULAR gel medium for the niche. You definitely don't need the heavy gel medium.
I'm surprised you have never tried gel medium. It is wonderful, and so very soft. I will make some comparisons next time and we will see how it stacks up to Mod Podge.
I suspect Home Depot will have some clamps. Yours probably won't look like mine. And mine came in a bag. There were three sizes and I used every one of them for my niche.
HOWEVER, if you can't find clamps, you can always use clothes pins (although they will buckle your block of pages as they dry) and/or bulldog clips like Helen did. Of course, clamps are far superior, but get what you can find, because, unlike what I would tell most people, I'm not going to say "buy what you can afford." I know money is no object when you are on a mission!
Lovely nosey peek about. Thanks for sharing your fab room. I have marked your site to come back and nose through all your mini books you have listed on the sidebar. I am amazed at how many!!!
ReplyDeleteIt takes me a couple of days to get through everyones posts and then "I'll be back" as Arnold would say.
How lovely to see a birds eye view of your room, you have some gorgeous things. I had to smile at the tub of Bisto.
ReplyDeleteMy Nephews arrived in Calgary last Saturday for a fortnights visit with the hope of moving out permanently in the Summer. They'll love the snow, we've had nothing this year.

Thanks for sharing a peek at your space. I'm always so nosy when it comes to other people's work space. I know your pain about the weather, as I am in Northern BC, in Fort St John. I don't mind the snow, as my husband is the one who shovels! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHowdy,
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

Happy WOYW on a Monday. I am VERY late but I had to get my visits in!
ReplyDeleteYour desk is, as ever, a marvel of creativity, and this week, so neat! we had a freak snowstorm a week ago too - so bizarre as it had been quite warm the week before. Oh well. It'll soon be Spring!

That probably is the messiest I've seen your craft space...but still loads tidier than mine LOL
