I had nothing to show for my work desk as I am completely mojo-less at the moment, but went and checked the mailbox and there was an envelope with my name on it!!
Elizabeth kindly sent me some of her lovely hand made paper and the ATC for the 4th anniversary swap.
and a Halloween card! Would you look at that, how cute and my very first ever Halloween card! Thanks E, just what I needed to cheer me up!
I gave the scrap desk a really good tidy and clean up this morning as if my mojo goes missing, this sometimes encourages it to return.... so here is hoping! :)
Don't forget to check out the linky list over at Julia's Stamping Ground for desks in abundance!!
What perfect timing she had! It's so nice to get Happy Mail!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!

Lovely mail - help, is it time for the 4th anniversary???
ReplyDeleteNow Annette, you must get yourself a good sleep or something to refresh you. I cannot do to come and visit and not find something of your absolutely gob-smackingly wonderful work to drool over.
Really am missing your creations.
Hugs, Neet 24 xx
I realize I'm really late getting here, but I've been rather "indisposed."
ReplyDeleteIt looks like those top three papers got really mangled when I apparently crammed them in the envelope. That's the trouble with thin HMP. And remember when you use it, use a DRY glue. I prefer glue stick. Don't use your ATG because it turns into a nightmare when it tries to stick down, or a wet PVA, because the pulp might disintegrate.
Glad you FINALLY got your final (I'm assuming final) WOYWW fourth year anniversary ATC. Glad you weren't my intended PIF, like Spyder was, because at least I still HAD yours.
It's odd I would sew everything (ATC and card) when the person I'm sending the gift to is such a gifted seamstress. Now you know why I mostly sew on paper (grin).
Get your mojo back soon, please. Happy WOYWW from #6, I think.
Lovely to find such a wonderful package in the mail. I'm sure your mojo will find it's way back to you =)
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW

That is the best timing ever! What a lovely parcel to get...aren't WOYWWers the best?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how you get the urge (or not) to do specific things. Sometimes the thought of sewing just drives me nuts, especially if its a commission that I really don't want to do....and yet, at other times, like the patchwork squares this weekend, it just flows. There's no rhyme nor reason is there?
We've seen a lot about the fires on our news..how scary. I hope that you are ok...
Hugs, LLJ 7 xx
I have been gone so I have so much to catch up on... lots of goodies for me to go through. lol Roberta 96
ReplyDeleteI do so hope your mojo returns soon! Is there a Mojo planet somewhere, do you think, where they hang out making amazing stuff just waiting for their owners to find them again? I love your happy mail, though! I have always wanted to make my own paper and that Halloween card is gorgeous! Have a great day and lots of positive vibes for the Mojo to come back pronto! Julie Ann xx #28
