A frothy milky coffee on one side and the makings of a scrapbook page centre stage on my desk. I am really enjoying being able to work in natural light from my new window and as I had mentioned some time ago, a need to use up some of my paper stash and actually get some of my photos printed and into scrapbooks. So, no, these papers are not the latest design and colours but I bought them because I liked them and that has not changed!!
Finished layout of my Granddaughter, Caitlyn taken last year when she was at the beach playing in the sand. I have used a page from Titan333 that I found on Pinterest as my inspiration.
Close-up of the flowers and pin and pearls that decorate the page.
So that is one photo down.... just a few hundred to go but as I sorted my papers into colours and manufacturers last week I have a better idea of what I have to play with... some of them are a decade old or more so its use it or lose it time!!
One thing about the type of papers you bought show their timelessness. Some designs never go out of fashion or style, at least that's my belief.
ReplyDeleteIt was good to see you back making more of these scrapbook pages, and doing what you do best.
Thanks for sharing your coffee that looks good enough to drink for T this Tuesday. I'd love to have a cup too, please.

ReplyDeleteHi Annette, and Happy T-day!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous LO (of course grandchildren make the difference) and the papers are perfect. Yes I most likely have papers about the same age......still waiting to be used. Your LO makes me want to get out all the scrapbook stash and have a "play".........but first I'd have to clear a patch.....ok, so it wont
be today.....LOL
