WOYWW 310

Yay! I am joining Julia for the Wednesday whirlwind dance through the desks of the world... and on my desk are a couple of cardboard inserts from new shoes I got in the post...

they just look too much fun to throw in the recycle so I thought I would have a go at playing with them and see what happens...

I thought I would do a step back photo shot of the window and layout...it lets in so much light and makes it such a pleasure to work in there... will be glad when the new blinds arrive though, its fine during the day but at night I feel a bit like a goldfish in a bowl!

another pic of the new long shelf I had put up to home all the bits I have altered so they aren't using up good stash space on my units

and the new corner with my desk in place at last... its only taken 11 months but I got there in the end and now have a lovely computer area to waste my time on the interwebs! LOL
I am being a lady that lunches today but will be back later to visit everyone and then I must make a start on the ATC's for the 6th Anniversary of WOYWW... I cannot miss that!

  1. What a lovely work space and I envy that big window. It would be the first thing I'd add if I could. The pretty wood floor too. It's funny how fast time goes by. And I had to smile when I saw those cardboard shoe inserts !!! I too saved some, have no clue where they are but my ideas are more than time allows. Have fun with them. Enjoy WOYWW

  2. What a fab workspace - I just wish I could get all my stuff housed in drawers and cupboards - I just can't remember which box/bag it's in and spend ages looking for bits and bobs! Hope we can swap ATCs this time. x Jo

  7. What a wonderful bright craft area you have.
Can't wait to get one of my own. With 2 boys of 18 and 19 I keep trying to convince them how much fun they would have if they shared a room but they won't bite lol
    Enjoy your lunch :) #31

  9. This is the first year since I've known you that you have been home for the big WOYWW day. What a remarkable change, and I even have your address (grin). I know your ATCs will be over the top, so I'm almost ashamed to show mine. But I was so sick when I made mine (and sent them to Julia), I was lucky to even get them in the mail. BTW, I had saved you one just in case you didn't send any to Julia at the crop.

This is ONE gorgeous scrap room now. It looks like it is going to be exactly what you wanted forever. That new shelf is lovely, too. I even remember when you made many of the things on it.

Happy last Wed before the crop from #9.

  23. Oh, your studio in general is heavenly! I would have never considered saving those inserts, but they could definitely turn out to be amazing. And your high display shelf is a grand idea. So much loveliness going on in your corner of the world!

  24. Your room is lovely and so tidy! I feel quite ashamed of my messy room and you know it's bad when your 5 year old grand daughter says 'gran, your art room is very messy isn't it'. She's right it's very messy - and not in a good, artistic way either :(

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comment, it is truly appreciated - sort of confirms that it is more than my Mum and husband that read this thing! :)
