Etch a Sketch anyone?

You probably have to be a certain age to even know what an Etch a Sketch is... and they were the equivalent to a computer to us kids!!  So when I saw one as an iPad cover on PinterestI had to have ago for my new Samsung tablet!!
and using my sewing machine to do my name on the 'screen' was exactly like doing it on my old Etch a Sketch (and the results were pretty similar too)!!
and I did unpick the mistake and corrected it... don't think its too noticeable? ;)
It is now in the post... so nobody spot anything else!!

  1. Gosh that brings back memories. My sister received one from the USA one Christmas. Love the cover you have made.

Well done on getting your panel finished and sent off.

  4. I spent many a happy (and frustrating!)hour with my Etch-a-Sketch! Love the cover and I'm about to treat myself to a Samsung tab too when I get my act together :D

Touching idea, the hankies, and I'm sure no-one will notice.

  5. I couldn't leave a comment before because I was unable to log into Blogger and you don't have an anonymous comment.

I thought you did a great rework job. I would not have reworked it, but I know how good you are at doing IT right.

That etch-a-sketch I-pad cover is awesomely awesome. A friend gave me an etch-a-sketch a few years ago. She found it at a garage sale after I mentioned I had never seen one before. Come to think of it, I haven't seen it since I had the flood, but it was a real hoot!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comment, it is truly appreciated - sort of confirms that it is more than my Mum and husband that read this thing! :)
