Just a couple of last minute bits... making some cardstock wallets for gift cards that are going to a friends young boys... my sewing leaves a lot to be desired but young boys will probably forgive me a few crooked seams, you think?
Why do I leave things to last minute...
and this is it folded and snapped shut with a little magnet.
and to leave you all in the Christmas mood... this is Tom-Tom inspecting the tree...
and all ready for Christmas..
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas... hope you all have a fabulous time.
Don't forget to check out Julia's for the linky list!!
Those wallets are a fab idea ... might be 'borrowing' that one fo next year!! Our kitten has, well trashed our tree this year!!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW and Merry Christmas.

I dont think they would notice the crookedness and think its part of the plan, non crafters dont normally see things like that, your christmas scene is very nice

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful and festive your house looks, makes me feel like bringing out some more decs but sadly we have no surround on our fireplace. How I wish we had so I could add my bunting. Love the picture of Tom-Tom climbing up to inspect the tree. Now what can he see that might be for him?

ReplyDeleteI think the wallet will be just fine. Boys for the most part only care what's on the gift card. Made a couple little purses to hold gift cards for the girls I craft with! Hope you and your family enjoy a Merry Christmas holiday. Thanks for sharing. Vickie #44
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peep at your decorations and for the idea of the gift wallets - looking good.

Hmm, your cat looks as if he's ready to pounce! Have you got a little Christmas mouse up there?? Lol. I love that bunting around your fireplace - now there's an idea for next year.....:)
ReplyDeleteWishing you joy and happiness this Christmas,

LOVE the wallets, and your house is looking mega-festive. I managed a wreath and a bit of greenery over the fireplace but that's about it. Annoyed that even with the painkillers I didn't manage to really hide all the wires from the lights well back in the depths of the tree, but from a distance it looks great :D
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW and have a joyous and merry Christmas!

Those card wallets are really clever! And is that a sort of recycled magazine tree on your desk? Love the kitty with the tree pic! Thanks for visiting my blog! RosA#2
ReplyDeleteFab wallets, great festive feel! Happy woyww and happy Christmas! Trace x
ReplyDeleteLove the wallets. Neat little idea, my wallet I bought this year has one 'built' in and I love it. We have a 7ft monster tree and it is very top heavy as my toddler likes to pull the decorations off and strew them round the house........
ReplyDeleteSuch a cool idea the wallets are !! Love the pic of kitty and the tree, he just cant resist can he ? Merry Christmas Annette , hope you have a lovely one xxxx
ReplyDeleteLove those little wallets, they look perfect from here. Your house is looking very festive, gotta keep an eye on those naughty kitties!!

They won't notice a bit of wobbly stitching - I had to look for it! Nice way to give a gift card to a boy. I bought a couple 'Superdry' vouchers this year, they are crappy printed till receipts, and that's hugely disappointing!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of your fireplace - and TomTom just about restraining himself!!
The wallets are fab, I can't see any crooked bits. Your decorations are brilliant, I hope your cat behaves!! Have a fabulous Christmas and thanks for look around your crafty christmassy place x

The wallets are super, Annette, and I don't think those boys are going to even notice your wobbly stitching - they will be too pleased with the contents. When I see your beautifully decorated fire mantle I get to wishing we still had one here - it looks so festive. Merry Christmas, Elizabeth x #46
