and using my sewing machine to do my name on the 'screen' was exactly like doing it on my old Etch a Sketch (and the results were pretty similar too)!!
and I did unpick the mistake and corrected it... don't think its too noticeable? ;)
It is now in the post... so nobody spot anything else!!
Gosh that brings back memories. My sister received one from the USA one Christmas. Love the cover you have made.
ReplyDeleteWell done on getting your panel finished and sent off.
Toni xx
My kids loved them ...and as for the stitching...who would know.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots of the furbabies below. xx

I spent many a happy (and frustrating!)hour with my Etch-a-Sketch! Love the cover and I'm about to treat myself to a Samsung tab too when I get my act together :D
ReplyDeleteTouching idea, the hankies, and I'm sure no-one will notice.
I couldn't leave a comment before because I was unable to log into Blogger and you don't have an anonymous comment.
ReplyDeleteI thought you did a great rework job. I would not have reworked it, but I know how good you are at doing IT right.
That etch-a-sketch I-pad cover is awesomely awesome. A friend gave me an etch-a-sketch a few years ago. She found it at a garage sale after I mentioned I had never seen one before. Come to think of it, I haven't seen it since I had the flood, but it was a real hoot!!
