WOYWW 12th June 2012

I'm back!!  Did you miss me?  Didja?  Humph... didn't even realise I wasn't here eh!! LOL
This is my work desk this week... on it is a handkerchief... which I have embroidered (and I use the term embroidered pretty loosely as anyone who can actually embroider would have a hissy fit at me putting my attempt in the same category).  It's for a Danish girl who requested handkerchiefs from all over the world with the words 'In a war somebody has to die' in your own language.  She is making them all up into one huge piece and it is going to be displayed.  You can find all the info here if you are interested, I know she needs more hankies!!
Here is Tom-Tom peeking out of his bed (actually, it's Pandy's bed but its ok because she was in his earlier)!!
and here is Pandora... looking like she is about to open the box!! ;)

Oh no!!  I just noticed the words should be 'in a war someONE has to die'.... guess I have to unpick it... going to make the spacing a bit weird but honestly, I think that is the least of my worries!! LOL

  1. aww your cats are gorgeous and just saw what a jetsetter you are moving from country to country, will have to trawl your blog to read your about your travels. I've only travelled around Australia and thought that was hard and exciting.

  3. I am trying to figure out what Pandy's bed is made of. I swear it looks ceramic in the photo. And Tom-Tom looks so inquisitive peeking out of Pandy's bedroom.

The hankie is impressive, whether you think it is or not. It was nice of you to join her cause.

Guess Julia fell asleep before she got the Linky to work. I always worry on the weeks I'm adding one because I never know if it's going to work or not.

  4. Of course we noticed you weren't there ;D
I've only attempted one embroidery project and that was 27 years ago when I was waiting to give birth to my daughter. It's on my inspirational wall but I've ticked that box now...I think you've done a great job and for such a worthy cause.
Pandora looks like she's wearing eye liner...cute cats ^..^
Happy WOYWW ~ enjoy! Neesie (no nubmer lol);D

  23. Awww... the kitties! Mine wanted to help me photograph the ATCs today, very pesky and not professional photographers, no matter what they say. I like the hanky idea in all the different languages. That's quite an undertaking. That is great that you could be a part of it.

  25. Your kitties are beautiful! I always notice mistakes after I have taken a picture of them, what's up with that anyway? You could always put a small heart between 'some' and 'one' to help your spacing. waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
