WOYWW 192

Yep, it's Wednesday again, it appears to be coming around vey fast, or is that indication of my age? LOL
This is my work desk, yes, I seem to have got a sewing bug.  I think it is the brand new sewing machine that Chris bought me!  On it is a raggedy quilt that I am making for the girl who organises my moving from country to country.  She is expecting her first baby and going on maternity leave the week I go to Oz, so I as a thank you for all her help I thought a raggedy quilt might be nice.

Since taking the photo I have finished it off and given it a wash to make it go raggedy and
and now it is ready for posting!
Speaking of post, I had the most wonderful visit from the post man who gave me a big box full of wonderful goodies!
Would you look at that!!  Donna, thank you so much, your generosity is amazing, and I am going to have so much fun playing with all these lovely bits!!
and finally, here is a pic of Tom-Tom in his new lycra body suit!  Yes, he managed to completely remove the fur and skin from the rabies and cat flu injections he got last week and wouldn't leave them alone so after another visit to the vet, this is the result... I think it suits him!! ;)

Don't forget to hop on over to the desk of Julia, Leader of the Desks, for the complete list!

  1. Tom-Tom is looking quite stylish - he really rocks that cropped look. Poor guy. And the quilt looks uber comfy - I'm sure she will really appreciate your efforts in light of the upcoming move. Have a great week.

  6. Happy WOYWW. Firstly, I haven't read why you move so much (must go and see if you explain this) - but good luck with your next move. Love that quilt. I am just about to attempt my first one ever. Tom-Tom looks very cool in his bodysuit. I can imagine the response if we tried to put one on our cat! Ali x #8

  22. Tom-Tom is looking very fetching in his new Lycra vest, so hopefully it’s doing the job and stopping him scratching, but BoJangles says he wouldn’t be seen dead in it….or rather I would be dead if I tried to put him in one like that, Lol.

It certainly looks like you’re making the most of your new toy and the quilt is just beautiful.
Your friend is going to be thrilled with it.
    Happy Crafting!

  26. what you didn't tell everyone is that you send me big bags of goodies too,

    Quid Pro Quo mississ,

and I KNOW you will make things and use up the stuff, not just put it in a cupboard and stroke it occasionally ( ah have I moved onto Cat commentary now?)

I think you need to bling up Toms vest.

  31. Re your comment on LillyBo ... why not make them in OZ for similar group over there? No use you paying long distance shipping and their cause is just as important. Just link it in and use my guidelines but let them be given locally.

I don't know where you find time to make things whilst packing to move half-way round the world. Your quilt is gorgeous. Lovely RAK from Donna. Tom-Tom does look rather fetching in lycra :) Hope your WOYWW has been happy. Elizabeth x #55
