This is my desk at the moment... yep, you are quite correct, it doesn't look very crafty!!
I am in the process of putting together all the documentation for the export and import of the two cats. I am lucky that Chris is doing the Oz side with quarantine etc.... I just need to make sure they get there!!
Papers, vaccinations, documents, invoices... but these two are worth it!!
I did do something crafty this week... made a quilt for our Granddaughter and got it off in the post yesterday and here she is with it!
Little Caitlyn and her raggedy quilt.
Don't forget to visit the linky list at Julia's so you can have a nose about all the different desks!
What gorgeous cats, they are definitely worth any trouble aren't they. Just love that quilt! Happy WOW day. Jill x
ReplyDeleteThose two are so adorable and the quilt is fabulous. You look very organised on the moving front then?
ReplyDeleteOh what gorgeous fur babies you have!!!! LOVE! And that quilt - amazing!!! Love the photo with your granddaughter snuggling it!

What a gorgeous quilt - and so is Caitlyn! Hope you are getting on top of the packing, you appear very organised - but I guess, given the number of times you've done it, it is second nature now! Happy WOYWW. Helen, 9
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful quilt. See I warned you, once you start and realise how easy it is there's no hope, you just have to do more. Your eye for colour and pattern is so good all your quilts will be wonderful
ReplyDeleteYour fur babies do look very cosy :) and your quilt is lush i wish i could make such a thing, thanks for sharing your desk

Your quilt is lovely, I think I'm going to try one too, I've got lots of fabric just lying around doing nothing so I might as well try! Good luck with the paper work for the cats, they look very happy, I hope they are still as happy after the journey to Oz - I'm not happy for days after that very long journey lol
ReplyDeleteOooh, the kitties are gorgeous! Hope we are over this ghastly heat by the time they get here!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW, RosA #64
Gorgeous quilt Annette, hope you get the documentation sorted OK!
ReplyDeleteSeems to be a very well organized workdesk AND a very well organized export-import-thingie with your cats! My dog is taking a nap in my bed at the moment too ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd your granddaughter looks so happy being kept cosy in her new quilt.
Enjoy your WW!

What a lovely quilt. I had to have a closer look at how you made it look frilly like that. Have you snipped the seams? It looks wonderfully shabby chic. Wishing the cats bon voyage. Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 55
ReplyDeleteThats a lot of paper work too fill out good luck. my friend took her cats to Spain last year and also had piles of paperwork.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt looks fab
happy woyww

Aw, perfect quilt for a perfect baby gal, how sweet she is. The 'Cat files' look bigger than any human file, what an extraordinary amount of work involved..and how long will they be in quarantine once they get there? You surely are smitten by them, huh!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cats! Beautiful quilt & granddaughter too, lucky you. Have a great day, Hugs, Shaz xx #69
ReplyDeleteYour cats are gorgeous! Good luck with the move for them. The quilt looks fab and it's always great to see an item of craft reach it's destination! Have a great week - Lucy #23 x
ReplyDeleteOh wow. Fab quilt. I still think I like the autumnal one better, but this one is stunning too. And sweet girlie. Cats - more trouble than they are worth :) We had a couple of them here for a bit when my friend moved over to go to school in Wales. OMG the chaos they caused. But if you love 'em, you love 'em (a bit like kids LOL!) so best of luck with the paperwork
ReplyDeleteIt must be such a worry with the pets I am not sure how I would be if I had to do that with my dogs they really are our babies.
ReplyDeleteA very pretty quilt thank you for sharing

Oh my what a beautiful quilt and how cute is Caitlyn?! The cats look cosy there - I don't think they want to move. :o) Happy Wednesday.

The quilt arrived today safe and sound, I'm so pleased to say and also 2 from LLJ!!! A neighbour took them in for us whilst we were shopping and I told her what we were doing so I think we've got another recruit! See what I've started ... now you are quilt crazy. Love the one you made Caitlyn... is it a king size now for your bed??
ReplyDeleteI've left a message for CHICs and all I need to do now is sew on the labels and they'll be with the children soon!
Hoep you feel proud of your part in it all!

Those are well traveled cats, do they need a quarantine period in Australia? Looks like you've caught the quilt making bug too! Your little GD looks like she already loves it.

I'm worth a bit of spam aren't I, lol!! I found butchers twine in the bin at work last week, someone must has received a gift or something, needless to say I was last seen disappearing into the bin to see if there was any more, coffee grounds not withstanding!!

I am sure your cats are well worth the hassle. I could not even think about leaving our two dogs behind, they are part of the family. Hope they have a good journey and settle down in their new home. Beautiful quilt for a lovely little girl. Have a good week. xx Maggie #11
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt you made for your granddaughter. She is so adorable by the way. All that paperwork for the kitties will be worth it in the end. I didn't realize you had to do that to move them from one country to another. Learn something new each day. All the best in your global adventure!
ReplyDeleteAhh - what sweet kitties. They are definitely worth all the trouble. And that quilt is absolutely adorable. Great job! April #101
ReplyDeleteLoving the cats on the bed ! But that quilt is beautifuland she 's alittle cutie.

Tom Tom and Pandy look so comfortable laying there. Am sure they must have more mileage than any other cats - do they show it on their passports?
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt and your little grandee is gorgeous.
