T on Tuesday

I am joining Elizabeth and the lovely Bleubeard for T on Tuesday... with a frothy coffee! I still Treat myself to one of these once a day, even though I am dieting. (see, I got the T in there?) You have to have something nice to look forward to, don't you?
This is what is outside my rental house here in Brisbane.... yes, our landlord has decided to sell the house so we have been pretty busy finding a new house to live in!!  It is sorted now though, and we move on the 8th April so you can have one guess what I am doing.....
Yes, I am packing... one of my all time favourite pass times.... not!!
and I thought I would finish up with a photo of Pandora
and one of Tom-Tom... don't laugh... but I had to supply photos of them when applying to rent a house.... LOL I have as yet to figure out why they would need to know what they looked like!!

WOYWW 248 OMGosh... is it really?

Well, this is my work desk this Wednesday morning so I am going to join Julia for What Is On Your Work Wednesday, I have been playing with my sewing machine and new toy - an overlocker!!  They had them on special at our local Spotlight and it just ended up in the trolley somehow!!
So I found this lovely fabric with a very Graphic 45 feel about it and decided to update my kneeling stool that I use in front of my scrap desk.
and there was enough material to make an apron to stop ink and paint getting on my clothes
and I trimmed some old cleaning cloth fabric with the heads so now I have this pretty set at my desk.
and here is my new overlocker with the little mat and thread catcher I made for it,
and matching cover to keep the dust out.
Looking forward to visiting desks, haven't been able to do so for a few months, so have missed loads I am sure.

Found

Here is the saw blade I found on the side of road, pretty unrecognisable now!
This is what it looked like.
Close up of one of the Tim Holtz angel wings and some of the cogs.
The cogs were all made from chipboard and either painted to look like metal or papered for contrast.
I added a few brass cog and wheels to the centres of some.
It was fun to get painty and inky again after so long! :)
