WOYWW 283

I'm back!  Wooo hoo!  It seems like I have been away forever and I have really missed all the lovely WOYWW friends.... but I can now sit at my desk and play with paper and glue again... so I am definitely a happier bunny.  This is how my desk looks at silly o'clock.  I am making a mini book.  Thought I had better make a start on a few gifts as the big C word is looming high on the horizon and I haven't even made a start on C cards yet!
This is the stepped back a bit photo... you can see that there is still a lot of sorting out to be done but at least everything is out of boxes and I can take my time in finding permanent homes for things.
and a quick turn to the left reveals more mess.... and a lot of patterned paper... probably wouldn't need to buy anymore in my lifetime... and am going to have a go at using old stash before buying any new and see if I can get the stash levels down to a manageable level... yeah right, well, a girl can try!!
I am looking forward to visiting people and catching up on what has been going on in the last 6 months... if Julia hasn't kicked me out for being AWOL for so long.

  6. It's lovely to see you and your crafty space is looking amazing.I had to laugh at all your 12x12 paper, I think I could match you with it but mine's not nearly so beautifully stored. It's so hard to resist lovely paper isn't it.

  9. Oh so lovely to see you back! I have dropped in every so often looking for play with paper or perhaps quilting but no so much recently. So happy to see the start of a mini book! I need to look back over some of your more complex designs so I can start a gift one myself. I always love yours so am sure I can find the perfect design :) And SO happy to see only number verification required so I can actually post this comment!!

    Happy WOYWW!

  11. Your space look so well-organized and tidy! I can't believe you have two of those 12X12 paper storage units! I've only ever seen those as shop fittings never for sale! They must be very handy to sort your papers. I don't do C cards at all. I just buy them. I find them too boring to make if I want to be honest. I need my time for more exciting stuff! Have a lovely week! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #42

  12. Well good look not buying and working on stash of paper. Your desk and area is so well organized that you will be able to buzz along and crank them out. Happy you have returned to the sedentary roaming.

  13. Happy WOYWW. Welcome back. I have been absent on and off for a while, but determined to become a regular again. Your crafty space looks fabulous. I have such a wish for those paper storage units. Have seen some for sale, but always too far away from us and the sellers would not courier. Ali x #58

  14. Welcome Home! Girl, I was starting to wonder if you had run away for good!

Glad to see your settling in the new digs, nice creative area. Manageable stash??? What the heck is that?? (grin)

I have a small start on C cards, but other things keep jumping onto Betsy, so it is still hard to wrap my thoughts, totally, on cards that aren't needed right this minute........oh yes I must procrastinate for a while longer...LOL

  17. You have a lovely crafting area. I take it you have recently moved. It's great to make your own craft space again.
Your paper stash looks like a shop. I also try to use what I have now I'm living out in the sticks, but it's difficult as I keep seeing nice things I'd like....
Thank you for letting me look over your shoulder.
    Have a good week.

  18. Great to have you back, even if you did keep sending me to Julia each time I clicked on your name. Doh! Didn't notice all the tabs opening up at the top and kept on clicking on your name. Am I really a blonde?
Oodles of stuff to keep us busy looking at your photographs - I love the top shelf of your second one.
It was good to see Tom Tom and Pandy the other day on Facebook. Hope all is well with the two of them now they are more settled.

  23. Ah, it's good to see you back! You're looking pretty sorted out to me, very organised indeed. Don't mention the C word, I've hardly started doing anything remotely festive and as for cards and presents......laughs hysterically.....no chance!!
Better pull my finger out ;-)

  25. Great to see you back, even if you are on the other side of the world now. That is one huge load of paper but I'm sure you will use it in no time :) It looks like you have plenty of storage to keep everything in. I don't even want to think about C yet, good on you for getting a start on.
    Have a great week,

  26. Here I am not playing this month, so Julia might kick ME out, too. I'm glad you have at least started the process of unpacking. And YES, you won't need any more paper for at least TWO lifetimes.

Glad to see you posting regularly again. Hope you are feeling better.

  27. So great to see you again at WOYWW! Your space is looking good..the rack of paper is erm, alarmingly on show...hurry and use some and it won't look like you're winning the stash contest! So you're done with builders and big changes for a while then...happy crafting for now!
