T on Tuesday

I am joining Elizabeth for T on Tuesday with a photo from last week... it was my 60th Birthday on the 4th January!  This is me in yellow with my much younger bff Louise... our two boys have been friends since primary school. Chris arranged a lovely meal for me with friends and Christopher and we had a lovely evening.
Louise, Sarah and Chris...
and my son, Christopher, who drove for an hour in horrendous rain to join us for dinner.

I have to admit that I failed at the outset of this year... said I would blog regularly and this my first post! LOL   I have been busy honest... putting away Christmas and then my birthday and then starting the diet...
yes... back on the green smoothies for breakfast...
and I have done some scrapbooking!
This was a page I did for a class I taught to a group of ladies on the 6th January.
It was a lovely class, the 15 ladies were total non-crafty types and they had such fun putting their pages together.
This is the slide out tag for the details of the photo.
and a scrap page of when Chris and I visited Lake Louise in Banf in Alberta when we were living in Calgary.
I know... and it really feels great to be getting back into crafting mode again after such a long time of feeling mojo less and drifting in the sludge of too much stuff, too many jobs around the house and trying to find a new routine.

  3. OMGosh, Annette. I have remembered every year for the past three years and even written it in my calendar to remind me it's your birthday on the 4th. Talk about being out of sorts! These past few months have been worse than if I were working two full time jobs and keeping my house clean and organized, too. So I felt like a dufus when I read that I had missed your birthday. Happy belated, dear.

It looks like you had a great birthday, though. And both Chris and Christopher looked good. It was wonderful that Christopher made it to your party.

Your smoothie looks rather non-appetizing, but I suspect it tastes rather good. And of course, it is quite healthy, too.

Loved the scrapbook pages you made for the women to see and copy. I see you used your die cutter, too. What a joy it must be.

Thanks for sharing your birthday, your smoothie, and your scrapbook pages with us for T this Tuesday. And please accept my apologies for a very belated, but well intentioned, happy birthday.

  18. Happy Birthday. My 60th is in June. I'm not looking forward to being 'in my 60's' but I suppose its better than the alternative! I've been doing some scrapbooking too and thoroughly enjoying it. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy doing it. Love your layouts, mine are not quite as arty as yours. x
