Dragon Eggs are done!

So what do you think?  Are they dragon eggy enough?  I used inks to give them that wonderful dragon egg colour and depending on whether you do the egg in silver, gold or brass you end up with different shades... it's pretty cool.
This was me beside a loch on the way to Oban... had such a good time with our Canadian friends eating and site seeing.
This is Fingal's Caves on the island of Staffa... it is totally amazing that this was created by nature... those columns are so uniform it's mind boggling.
The Hebridean islands are amazing, the scenery is stunning.

  1. YES, those are incredible dragon eggs. I like the shimmer you got. Inexpensive art that would command a fortune in the high end shops.

Your time with your Canadian friends looks wonderful. The scenery was out of this world. I bet they were impressed since I'm sure they've never seen anything like it before. Neither have I for that matter.

    BTW, you look GREAT!!

  2. I love your dragon eggs, they are fabulous. I have never been to Scotland (apart from a show a the SECC in Glasgow) - the scenery looks amazing.

  3. The eggs are amazing - love the shimmery colours.
    What super photos.

  6. Fingals caves are amazing - never seen a photo before - just remember the music. your eggs are also amazing, what a clever idea, I would never have known they were drawing pins. Fabulous!
    Hugs, Neet xx

  7. I've come along to your blog to find your 'organiser' instructions as they form the basis for a mini book I've made recently and I wanted to 'shrink' the book - but couldn't for the life of me find the original print out of your blog!

Thank you for keeping your blog alive - thank goodness.

I hope you are well and staying safe

  8. Wow - what a great idea! I love those eggs and the colors are beautiful!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comment, it is truly appreciated - sort of confirms that it is more than my Mum and husband that read this thing! :)
