T on Tuesday

I am joining Elizabeth for T on Tuesday with a cup of frothy coffee and a mini book I am working on that is made from one sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock... thought it would make nice C presents if it turns out alright!
This is a pocket envelope and card I made and I decorated it with a homemade rosette, which I am chuffed with, as it looks as good as the ones you make with the Tim Holtz die but without the expense of the die! LOL

  1. Did you use an embossing folder on the black envelope? And I'm not even going to try to guess how you made that rosette. All I know is, it wasn't made from a die (grin).

Thanks for dragging out the "keep calm" mug and filling it with froth (and coffee, too). Have a super T today.

BTW, I look forward to seeing the mini book once it's completed. You are SUCH a tease (grin).

  3. Interesting...can't wait to see the finished book.

Love the pocket - is that the Threading water border punch around the edge of the rosette?

  10. Great rosette. I don't own any fancy cutters so I'm always delighted to see people who come up with ways to get the various effects on their own. Anxious to see your mini books.

  14. Hand over the cup and nobody gets hurt! Seriously, I love your pocket card and rosette, I have the die, not got them to work with my ebosser yet, but I haven't given up and the Big Shot is still there, I just haven't worked out when to use a rosette on my cards, but I have some well done cards in mind. I bet you used the Scorpal, or MS score board to make yours.
