Oh yes... more cards! I'm on a roll!

You may just have to bear with me for a couple days while I get this out of my system.... I could just blame Julia and her post about not using Tim Holtz dies because I commented that it would be a challenge to actually use all the Tim Holtz dies I have!!  LOL
So here is the vintage telephone die... I made a quick card for Julia to thank her for getting me the Communique fabric I recently made into a quilt for my family room. I used Graphic 45 Communique papers, which seemed appropriate.
and this actually uses TWO dies! The wings one and the tick tock one... which is a birthday card for my step-daughter... and I used the hands to indicate her age! Heeee heeee heee!
I think I have 10 more to go... sorry about that....

  2. I would take you up on your challenge if I did not use them as much as I do! I use my dies A LOT! Can't imagine not using them...now that would be a challenge for me!

  3. Lovely cards Annette. Using the wings with the clock has made it look like a mantle clock - very clever.

  4. I am just beginning to use dies. I have had loads for ages but couldn't be bothered but now I have some neat alpha dies and some Tim Holtz dies and a Bigshot - that's really the reason I am using dies. I love the Bigshot.

  5. Happy to shoulder lame here, for once!! I think you may be a card maker after all.....and let's face it, making cards is really exercising your collection of dies..perhaps that's what TH intended?!!

  6. Two of the three dies you used I had never seen before. The phone is superb, and I like the background because I have one of those old candlestick phones.

I'd also never seen the alarm clock die before, although I had seen the wings. Putting them together was SO clever. Sort of reminds me of the early days before dies and die cutting machines were around. People would try to figure out ways to use their punches in new and unique ways.

But look at you, taking the TH dies to another new and unique level. That's one of the many things I admire about you. And, of course, I recognize the "Time Flies" stamp.

We are all anxiously waiting for the next installment of card making madness!! Keep them coming until all those dies have been test driven and you have a stack of cards ready for that perfect moment to send one.

BTW, do you ever get tired of having to send international packages (grin)?

  8. Good for you! I need to take the hint and get to using all the dies I have, and they go back to the original Sizzix hand push style ...LOL
Your cards are great, especially for "not being a card maker" You silly girl, of course you are!
