WOYWW its in the bag!

This is my work desk today...
Attempt two to make a bow/rossette for my new handbags...
I think I prefer this to yesterday's attempt... but it I am sure it can be improved upon!
Oh and I would wear a plain t-shirt and my blue jeans... think it might work?
Don't forget to go check out the linky list at Chief of Desks Mz Dunnit!

  7. Sorry but I just can't look at any of the crafty goings on. Just have eyes for those shoes!

Have a very similar pair but lighter blue and sadly they come out very rarely as the old RA in may ankles doesn't like high heels any more.

Sad sad times when a girl can't get her heels on!

Thanks for sharing the shoes and have a great week.

  14. Were the shoes the inspiration behind the rosettes? Yes, agree with you that this rosette is better than the smaller ones with tails. I know the shoes are gorgeous and need no further embellishment but have you tried a couple of small rosettes as shoe clips.
For a different look on your bag try a couple of yesterday's rosettes (or smaller ones) clustered with the today one. Just an idea. I love playing about with things like this.
Hope the tum is feeling better.

  17. I made a fabric rosette at some point but would have to unearth the link on my blog....ah

    http://scrappystickyinkymess.wordpress.com/2011/01/05/fabric-rosettes/

The thin fusible web gives it some stability and keeps the edges from fraying - also holds the creases a lot better. Unless you WANT a softer more formless one.

Cheers for the spool - I had to go buy some Bisto and am thinking of putting a call out to one of Maddie's groups for empty ones :) If I score a huge lot of them will send you some....

    :)

    Happy WOYWW!

  22. Well, see what happens when your late for T? I think I like the rosette alone, and agree that you might get questioned with the first design. LOL, LOVE those shoes!!

  24. I had to check out your previous post so I could compare rosettes. I like yesterdays better as well but I think it is because they had those dangling pieces making them looking more like first place ribbons. I don't know, but I just like that look. Also have to comment on the kitties in their run. They look like they are quite enjoying themselves. Cats are funny about the heat, they seem to think the more the merrier.

  25. Some times things just create them selves...we just have to be quiet enough to respond to the spark. Thanks for sharing. Be well I'm happy to get in before 100...I'm #99 Carole

  28. It's about perception isn't it...the same rosette looks to me a completely different set of colours on the blue bag to the red. weird huh! I I think. Your outfit plans are just CUTE!!

  30. Absolutely PERFECT. Now that's a much better idea than the bow with tails. I really like that revised rosette. And I can see you answered my concern about your outfit. Sounds like it will be perfect, especially with those shoes. Nicely done, dear.
