WOYWW 222

This is what my work desk looks like on this bright, sunny spring morning! I am working on creating a fairy castle...
and it is suffering from leaky elbow syndrome at the moment... it doesn't look anything like this in my head, you know! LOL
oh and I got mail!  I love getting mail... nothing worse than the trip out to the front gate to check the mail box and find it empty... or worse still, full of campaign bumph! So, back to the mail, the lovely Donna (Doone) sent me a junk key and the swap ATC for the 4th anniversary of WOYWW.  How lovely is that?
If you would like to be in my blogoversary draw to win the above reel, go to this post!!

Don't forget to go to Julia's and linky up to the tour of desks!

  1. You linked to Julia, not yourself. I'm going to post this, so you can change the link. I'll be here when you get back (grin).

  2. I'm fairly sure I see where you're going with this, and I think it's a very clever way to use that birdcage die. Hope the leaky elbow gets straightened soon (grin).

    Happy WOYWW from #2.

  3. Loving the project, be it the one on your desk rather than in your head! Have a great day - and the mail from Donna is just gorgeous! Helen 23

  4. Castle is looking an amazing 3D creation ! Hope it all comes together like the image you have in your head - always brilliant when that happens - or sometimes it morphs into something even better when you get hands on ! Ali #40

  5. I love where the fairy castle is going (at least in my head lol). Such a gorgeous bit of mail you have there : D. I just popped over to comment on your blogaversary.

The scented embossing powder is for scratching and sniffing (in a pleasant way). Any un-sugared scented powdery drink mix, jello, pudding, baking chocolate powder, etc. Papertrey Ink is coming out with a stamp set and the embossing directions came out of that. #7

  8. I'm sure when it is finished you will be really pleased with your fairy castle (even if it doesn't quite match what is in your head) it certainly looks very pretty at the moment.

Oooo, lovely mail. It really is super getting things other than bills and junk mail; isn't it.

  9. That discrepancy between idea and actual object happens often on my desk! It's a bit like singing, isn't it? You can hear the tune perfectly in your head, so why does it come out of your mouth like a creaky hinge?? Lol!

  29. SIGH…. I wish you lived across the street from me. I so wish I could come over for a play date and craft with you. You make some of the most beautiful stuff ever. I might have to steal the fairy castle idea, my granddaughter would be beside herself. She is 3.5 yrs old and LOVES hand crafted things. (Start em' young I always say) Though I'd need a hint or two on how to make one. Thanks for stopping by. (((HUGS)))
