So here is the desk all tidied up and I now have a radio/mp3/cd player at the side so I can listen to chatter while crafting... and it seems Radio 2 is the least annoying of the airwaves... so when did that happen? A sign that I am now officially old? LOL
On the desk is a handmade envelope with some diecuts for rosettes that I sat and cut out for a lady I was talking to at the local ladies group. It seems she is a card maker and mentioned trying to make rosettes and I told her I had a machine for that.... LOL
a card I made for her to show how the rosettes should look when finished.
So if you are wondering why I am showing you my desk, go to Julia's and check out all the details and you will be on your way to visiting lots of lovely desks full of wonderful inspiration.
I am simply THRILLED to see you blogging again. You have no idea how much I've missed you. I didn't even get to officially wish you happy birthday back on the 4th, either. Just glad to see your always awesome craft space. I simply adore it, and am SO glad you are finally HOME.
ReplyDeleteOrganizing has taken over my life. Tomorrow, I'm hoping to work in my garage, if only for a little while. Temps are supposed to fall very low again, so I may only stay a short while since the garage is not heated.
have a great Wednesday, dear friend. I'm simply THRILLED you are posting again.
How nice you are helping out a fellow crafter. Happy woyww Jill #18
ReplyDeleteGlad you came out to play even if you are still looking for Elvis. He must have called briefly as you made the rosette card for that lady. Nice and bright by the way.
ReplyDeleteHave enjoyed seeing all your photos on F Book recently - including the cats.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
I love that card with the rosettes, don't they look great like that on your lovely background. Your desk looks fab - hope the mojo returns soon. Helen 4
ReplyDeleteI usually get very distracted when I clean up because I "discover" all kinds of things I had forgotten about, lol! Sometimes I wind up with a bigger mess than I started out with because I pull things out that I want to use next. But you can't play with dozens of things at a time!!! I hope you find great inspiration this week for your next project. The rosette card is quite charming!
ReplyDeleteHappy Crafting!

Good to 'see' you again. Love your tidy space and the rosette card. Anne x #37
ReplyDeleteThat is really nice of you to make them for the lady and to show her how they are to look as well. I love your card so bright and cheery.

Radio 2 is for the ageless. Radio 4extra is the digital place to be most of the time. Your Mojo hasn't left the building it is hibernating because of all the building work and won't come out until you stop thinking about decorating and stuff. Lovely to see you again
ReplyDeleteLOL! Such a crafters thing to say "I have a machine for that!" :) Lovely rosettes. I still score and fold most by hand even tho' I too have a "machine for that" - just not the "die for that!" :)
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy WOYWW day!

I have NO idea if my comment actually posted or got eaten. {sigh}
ReplyDeleteI'm just doing my blog dash round all my favourites while the twinnies are doing some cutting and sticking 😃
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that fab tidy desk will encourage mojo to return. Really love those rosette flowers.
Hugs,

I love your space. Nice and neat and ready to go!

Oh that sounds clever - a rosette machine! Love the card. x Jo
ReplyDeleteIt really must be the time of the year... everyone is cleaning their desks! I hope mister Mojo/Elvis returns in a hurry! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #51
ReplyDeleteA die cut is definitely the way to go with the rosettes, I wouldn't be without mine. Love the colours on yours.
ReplyDeleteRadio 2 has been my constant companion for years now. Either I've got old or it's got younger, I'm hoping the latter!!
Hugs Lisax #31
Oh two days on the trot - always a pleasure to read your blog hun! Loving the card too!
ReplyDeleteLovely rosettes and so nice you are helping out the lady at the ladies group :) That desk looks nice and organized so now it must be time to mess it up :) Happy crafting! Shel#71
ReplyDeleteThese are super fun and so cute. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #59
ReplyDeleteLove your rosettes, Annette, and how nice to help that lady out. She will be thrilled, I am sure.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely supportive comment. From what they've said, they know what it is, and the further tests will just indicate how they should proceed with the treatment. I know it's probably going to be a long slow process and I don't relish it one bit! Got to get on with it, though.
Happy WOYWW,

Hey there, it's good to see you back! You made me laugh with your Elvis reference :-) Hope your Mojo has returned with a vengeance! That gorgeous rosette card indicates to me that it has...what a fab card. Quite pop arty!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog!
Hugs, LLJ 25 xx
That card looks wonderful and I didn't know there was a machine to make rosettes just hours of sitting and folding and gluing like crazy :) Happy WOYWW late hugs Nikki 9
ReplyDeleteSo great to have your name on the list again! You've crtainly got a grip on the space, so now...find yourself another household job that takes a while and your mojo will come rushing back in a fit of jealousy!
ReplyDeleteAwesome work space! Do you think that the post holiday season is the issue with most of us not having any mojo right now? I know we all craft and create gifts for months before the holiday so maybe it is just a down time to rest and recover. Who knows but I have read on a lot of blogs that Mojo has gone walkabout. Have a great week and I hope he returns to you soon! Vickie #33
ReplyDeleteHope the mojo is back soon. Love the bright card. Happy crafting! Catiecuddles#86
