Telephone Box Tag Book

When I was at the Scrapbooking Expo in Brisbane last week, I saw these kits with telephone boxes and couldn't resist buying one!  They are from scrapmatts.com and the telephone box is obviously laser cut wood and it all goes together really beautifully.  Included in the kit was 4 tags for the inside so I have done it as a tag book of our Grandkids... just one minor problem, I appear to have left my supply of photo paper back in Scotland!  Darn it... so will now have to go shopping so I can print the photos for the tags.
I added some smaller tags to the four supplied for journaling and dates.
Found my British ribbons and kept the colours to red, white and blue.
This is the back of the chipboard tags...
and here it is sitting on my dining room dresser... a little bit of England!!
I think it would look pretty cool in blue as a Doctor Who theme too!! :)

  1. That's a fab find and what a great idea to use it for those tags. Love the tags - love the Brit theme that runs through.
In fact love your little British display.

  4. This makes me want to visit Great Britain more than ever. I love the telephone box, the ribbon, the British flags. Gosh, I like it all, including the crown. What a great display you have made on your dresser. I bet it livens up the room and possibly makes you a bit homesick.

BTW, the DCIM folder is the one I always get my photos from. They are located in that folder. I then remove them to the PS folder I'm working on at the time. However, all of a sudden I got this NEW folder inside the DCIM folder that I am unable to open with the .vsf extension. Also inside the DCIM folder is the folder that my photos are supposed to be in. They are in my 102Vivitar album, or at least they usually are. The .vsf folder is also in the DCIM folder, not in the 102Vivitar folder. I hope I didn't confuse you. And yes, I have both a slot in my computer AND an external USB reader that will hold my media card. I've tried both places and nothing has happened. And of course, I've had the "closed" slot on my card reader before, so that was one of the first things I made sure was not "closed."

I've had this camera (and card) for about 8 years, so I have always been pretty much aware of all the ins and outs of it, but this has thrown me for a loop.

  8. Well now, which do I like most...the little bit of Gb on your dining room side, or the new addition....? I cannot decide. You're being prolific again gal, and I'm loving it.

  9. Oh my goodness...I just love this. Such a wonderful idea.

I have an old telphone box/piggy bank that looks wuite similar...maybe looks a bit more aged in the colour of the box...sadly some paint has come off...
You are inspiring me to investigate resurecting it! When i get back from England in the fall, I am going to see if my very handy son-in-law could hinge the lid for e...Then I just have to find that gorgeous teacosy and candle...and I will be your twin sister!
