Doing male mini books is always a bit of a challenge for me as I have to resist adding all the bling and ribbons and stuff and keep looking at it like its naked, or something!!
and I am still getting over having to clear the driveway and path three times in one day!! It just wouldn't stop snowing... I would clear it and a couple of hours later you would be hard pushed to know I had done anything!!
I think you need to buy a snow plow. Especially with your neighborhood association's insane rules.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to Christopher's album. I know men are very hard to scrap or make books for.
I kept looking for your name. I've been checking every few minutes, just anxious to see what you are up to. Now I can rest for awhile (grin).
The album is looking good, I think. The background papers are really nice. I've always liked the idea of living where it snows, but I guess the day to day business of dealing with it would be an entirely different matter! Happy WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteI had to stop by and take a look! Thanks for sharing, it is always so much fun to see what others are doing.

ReplyDeleteWe just get rain, rain and more rain. At least it drains away. The boy album looks good.
ReplyDeleteI have a son and he gets ribbon on his pages and the odd flower or bling, don't be put off cos it is for a guy...
ReplyDeleteYou have had your share of snow! My cousin lives near you and i have been following your weather updates.
ReplyDeleteLove the bright colours in your sons album!
Love your mini book pages.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
A x
Clearing all that snow really doesn't look like much fun sweetie, hope it stops so you can carry on crafting. Loving the mini book you're making and I sooooooooooo get that male aspect of crafting!
ReplyDelete3 times? Oh my.... I think Elizabeth is right, you need a plow! I think your album looks great. I don't scrapbook at all, but cards are hard enough for men, so I can imagine!
ReplyDeleteHappy woyww, Helen 32.

The book is looking good. Brrr to the snow (glad we haven't got any) (Hazel, WOYWW#5) x
ReplyDeleteYou see, I think you're the only one in the street clearing the snow...take a million house points. Couldn't agree more about an album for a boy, am thinking of tackling one for my BiL but manage to keep putting it off. Is that black thread or the wires for some technology?
ReplyDeleteLove the album fabulous papers! I think clearing the snow is a bit like the painting the fourth bridge neverending!! Have a good week, Hugs May x x x x
ReplyDeleteThat album is great, but I know what you mean about it seeming to be naked without all the bling and ribbon! Males are so hard to please, I mean what's the harm with a bit of ribbon! Happy Wednesday to you, enjoy this week's snoop of oh so creative places & take care. Zo xx 83
ReplyDeleteAlbum looking great - snow not so great. Glad we only get it once a year (fingers crossed) and it's quite mild here. although a bit on the grey side but then grey is a colour too.

ReplyDeleteI said only recently that I should LoVe to live in Winterland so am very jealous of your *s*n*o*w*! Super workspace and really loved seeing your projects. Happy WOYWWing. Debbie #89
ReplyDeleteThink I would have given up on the snow shovelling thing by now.....you deserve the officail snow shoelling medal.
ReplyDeleteNice to see such a colourful album, mine would be all brown and the such if it was for a man. You can use lots of brads and eyelets and things like that, cogs, wheels - but then they might not fit in with the images. I will shut up. Look forward to seeing more of it if possible.
ReplyDeleteDon't envy you the snow.
Hugs, Neet #19 xx
Your desk looks very industrious - hope you get your male mini book done, it's nice to have the challenge.
ReplyDeleteBe careful of all that ice!
Thanks for already coming to see my desk :)

The book is looking good Annette.
ReplyDeletePoor you having to shovel all that snow - perhaps you need a tent-type tunnel leading to the house to keep the path clear during the snowy months.

ReplyDeleteThe album looks great, i bet your son will love it. Hope you don't need to clear any more snow! Have a great week lou x

I just got home a few minutes ago and opened my mailbox to find your package! I eagerly opened the outer wrapper, then noticed everything inside is wrapped. So, I will take time to inspect and appreciate everything as soon as I get it all unwrapped (grin). Thank you SO much, even though I've yet to discover all the wonderful goodies inside. Of course, I know there's a puzzle piece, but that's all I know!
ReplyDeleteOHHHH Annette. I'm in LOVE with everything. It took me awhile to go through everything, because I took a long time savoring each wonderfully wrapped package as I opened it. Of course, I can't tell you how much I love the TWO rocking horses, but I also love the other goodies, too. I'll post them all on Saturday, since I have to now finish my IA challenge for the week. And your puzzle puts mine to shame!!! thank you so, so much for outdoing yourself.
ReplyDeleteBright pages and a cosy desk...just what you need - here we having Spring sun...Sarah at 1 having a late WOYWW peek on Friday!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the share. Still working on my Navy grandson's album, not to hard since there is the specific theme and the many countries he has visited. Just time consuming and laziness on my part. #160
ReplyDeleteRunning late this week... Love your creation. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!
