I have actually made a couple of Christmas cards!! Woooo Hoooo! I have a couple of girlfriends coming over this morning and we are going to endeavour to make all our Christmas cards, have a good natter and then some lunch - seems like a good use of the day to me!
I found the instructions on You Tube by Dottiesworld and love the idea that you can add a book mark or a voucher or cheque to the pockets or photos of the family. Think I may be making a few more of these!
Anyone recall the WOYWWAC week 52 Anniversary Challenge? Yep, I did make this prior to week 52 and then some lovely wee packer in Saudi Arabia went and packed it away in a box and shipped it off across the world and I only came across it this week!! :( Sorry Julia, I did make the effort just never managed to get it blogged because of the move. It is for hanging ribbons or beads in my scraproom... just in case peeps are wondering what the heck it is!!
Oh and the being a few degrees cooler down here in the basement is no longer an issue... look at the cute little red fire I now have... and see how the two cats love the armchair in front of it!! LOL
Hope you have a lovely day and thank you for popping by!!
HMMM! Wonder where Julia is. Sleeping in with Mr. D, I guess. I figure I'll just get this started and she'll have her post up and I'll end up #65 or so this week (grin). That's a pretty nifty WOYWWAnniversary thingy.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO jealous. You have friends who come over and make cards with you, AND they get to play in your craft room. I may just have to make a road trip. OK, I'm dreaming, but that's what keeps me young-ish! Please take pictures so I can drool and be jealous.
BTW, I added you to my blogroll, so I can keep up with you, too. Guess I'd better check up on Mrs. D. Have a great day with friends!
I love your celebratory WOYWW hanging, glad it's seeing the light of day again! I'm sure Julia will be thrilled.
ReplyDeleteGreat pocket cards too.
Chrissie

If you’re anything like me you won’t get much done at all when your friend comes. We always seem to spend more time chatting and eating!

You're not the only one wondering where time is going and it's perfectly true that the older you get the faster it goes but I also think that if you are busy doing what you love time just flies too - I think you are probably just doing the latter. Love those pocket cards and your ribbon hanger. Enjoy your day. Elizabeth #98
